Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

TezTun provides TCP tunneling to expose local services to the internet. This power comes with responsibility. This policy defines what is and isn't allowed to keep the service safe and reliable for everyone.

2. Prohibited Uses

You must NOT use TezTun to:

• Host phishing sites — pages designed to steal credentials or impersonate other services
• Distribute malware — serving viruses, trojans, ransomware, or any malicious software
• Run command and control (C2) servers — for botnets or compromised systems
• Conduct attacks — DDoS, brute force, port scanning, or exploitation of other systems
• Host illegal content — material that violates the laws of Uzbekistan or the user's jurisdiction
• Spam or bulk messaging — sending unsolicited communications through tunnels
• Cryptocurrency mining — using our infrastructure for mining operations
• Traffic proxying for abuse — using tunnels to obscure the origin of malicious traffic
• Bypass security controls — circumventing firewalls or network policies in ways that violate your organization's rules
• Resell the service — offering TezTun tunnels as your own product without permission

3. Acceptable Uses

TezTun is designed for legitimate development and networking use cases:

• Exposing local development servers for testing and demos
• Webhook development and testing
• Sharing work-in-progress with clients or teammates
• Running personal services accessible from anywhere
• IoT and home automation remote access
• Temporary public access to local APIs

4. Resource Limits

• Respect the tunnel and session limits of your plan
• Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or plan restrictions
• Do not create multiple accounts to bypass plan limits
• Tunnels are for interactive use — sustained high-bandwidth transfers may be throttled

5. Security

• Keep your account credentials confidential — do not share them publicly
• You are responsible for securing the local services you expose
• Report any security vulnerabilities to [email protected]

6. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

1. Warning — for first-time or minor violations
2. Tunnel termination — immediate disconnection of offending tunnels
3. Account suspension — temporary loss of access
4. Account termination — permanent ban with no refund

We may take immediate action without warning for severe violations (malware, phishing, attacks). We may also report illegal activity to relevant authorities.

7. Reporting Abuse

If you encounter abuse of the TezTun service, please report it to [email protected] with:

• The subdomain or URL involved
• A description of the abuse
• Any relevant evidence (screenshots, logs)

We will investigate and respond within 48 hours.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as needed. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
